TheWrap has heard exclusively that Daniela Melchior, who made her name as Ratcatcher 2 in James Gunn's "The Suicide Squad," is in discussions to join Vin Diesel in the cast of the upcoming 10th installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise.
For the time being, the plot and characters of "Fast & Furious 10" are being kept under wraps. Jason Momoa, a newcomer to the ensemble, may play a villain in the next action-thriller starring Melchior.
Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Sung Kang are all returning to the series, as is director Justin Lin. They are also working on "Fast and Furious 10," which hasn't been named yet, with Diesel and Lin.
"Fast & Furious 10" will be released by Universal on May 19, 2023.
The Portuguese dubbing voice of Gwen Stacy in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," initially spoken by Hailee Steinfeld, was likewise done by Melchior. In "Assassin Club," Melchior joins Henry Golding, Sam Neill, and Noomi Rapace in the cast. "Marlowe," starring Liam Neeson, will also include her. Her daytime television credits include "Valor Da Vida," "A Herderia," and "Massa Fresca," and she is well-known in her home country, Portugal, for them.
Two agencies represent Melchior: CAA and Brave Artists Management.
