Oscar Isaac was initially apprehensive about joining the cast of another Disney movie.
In an interview with Radio Times, the "Moon Knight" actor admitted that he was apprehensive about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe after starring in the "Star Wars" sequel trilogy.
Isaac stated, "For me, it was all reservations." As far as I was concerned, "Star Wars" was no longer relevant to me. I simply really want to undertake character studies,' I thought to myself. And I'm stumped. "

As the X-wing pilot Poe in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "The Last Jedi," and "Rise of Skywalker," Isaac has already appeared in a big Disney tentpole. He once joked that if he needs another house or whatever, he'll simply return to the franchise.

So I decided to wait and see what Kevin had to say about it before I made my final decision. " As a result, I met with Kevin and said, "This is how I'd want to go." He responded, "OK, go for it. " Isaac recounted. Afterward, he informed me that they didn't know what the heck I was doing, which made me laugh. They weren't even sure if it would work. I'm pleased we did it, though, since everyone feels it helps elevate the show's quality.
A lot of faith and trust in my thoughts and sentiments about it came from Kevin and everyone at Marvel, according to the "Scenes from a Marriage" and "Dune" actor.
